Sky God Characters
Sky gods are rulers in the heavens and givers of laws on Earth. Figures who embody this archetype are usually sun gods and gods of thunder. In many mythologies, terrible storms and lightning bolts are signs of their divine retribution. And the sun, of course, is the source of light and, by metaphorical extension, morality and reason. Sky gods symbolize moral authority and cosmic justice.
